Days 7-10 were pretty much the same. A lot of oozing. But day 11 was the first day I felt no pain, and there was no more swelling. Yesterday was great. I started playing with the jewelery a lot, a big NO-NO! The weird talking has improved, but isn't completely normal yet. I get the jewelery switched out to a shorter barbell in two more days. Hopefully that will inhibit my playing with it, and further help the new speech impediment.
Since the swelling has gone down, I now see that the piercing is very crooked. It leans off to the right. But that's okay. It adds character. :-)
